Housing area design, St. Petersburg 2004

This residential area of 17 private detached houses and a sports complex were designed on an old sand excavation site, close to St.Petersburg. The land formation was utilized by placing the rectangular villas around the outer side of the internal ring road. Atrium villas were placed in the centre, giving them a private secluded external courtyard. Each villa was designed with an attached greenhouse, accessible from inside. All saunas within the villas have outside hot pools and cooling terraces.
